How to empty your mind and preparing yourself for sleep


After a long day we imagine that we will sink in a deep sleep, but when one throw his body on the bed, all the thoughts come to his mind all the problems, the conversations and the actions start to come to the mind, in this case we can surly say good bye sleep…

The question is, is there a way to calm down our minds and get some sleep? Yes you can, here is some useful tips:

  • Time management

Our bodies organize its self according to the movement of the sun its rise and set. And we destroy this by staying late at night and this minimize the body's production of melatonin (responsible of waking up and sleeping). That’s why we should control the hours that we sleep in and weak up to. For example wake up at 6am and sleep at 10pm.

  • Stay away from the TV

Some believe that sleeping in front of the TV may provide some relax, and turn on a romantic movie. This is wrong it will only give you a bad headache, that’s why it is recommended to stop watching TV 30 min before sleeping, believe me this will give you a chance to think about yourself and fall in a deep sleep.

  • Self talk

Buy a notebook and write in it just before you sleep, write all the things that disturb you, this will help you to fall in a deep sleep.

  • Music

Calm music can stop the mind from thinking about unimportant things, and helps to sleep, calm music stimulation the right half of the brain which is responsible for the balance and calmness, unlike the loud music that stimulate the left half of the brain responsible of logic.
